Great but not advisable for solo travel

Do book other activities and plan your day accordingly because dolphin viewing happens in the evening! The staff is very friendly and the place is great but wouldn't advise this for solo travel, can get a bit boring as you only have the property to go around..

Okay

Having read the reviews we were really looking forward to this trip however we were left a bit disappointed. The morning tea that was supposed to be included never happened, we also never really received much information about the marine life of the area which was also supposed to be included (most of the information given was regarding safety of snorkelling which is important but we were also hoping to learn about the marine life). The snorkelling itself was very crowded and the guides seemed to keep telling everyone to swim backwards and forwards between the guides which meant people were getting in each others way all the time. The shipwrecks however were fascinating and a brilliant sight. We were extremely cold when we got out of the water (bring warm clothing to change into!). As soon as we got back on the main boat lunch was served as it was now gone 13:30 however we wanted to get changed into dry clothes first to warm up. The lunch was very nice however we didn’t have long to eat it before we had to get on the small boat if we wanted to go over to the beach. We only had about an hour on the beach. The tour had provided kayaks, beach umbrellas and games for people to use if they wished which was a nice touch. We then cruised back to Brisbane with no further commentary about the marine life/the area. We were provided with melon and oranges as an afternoon snack which was nice. All in all the shipwrecks were very cool to see but we have done other tours similar to this in Australia which were much more enjoyable and better value to money.
