We live on the Gold Coast but decided to stay in Brisbane city for the weekend.
The cruise was advertised as a sunset cruise, and it left at 5:30 pm.
We cruised down river to the Power House, then back up river past the Victoria Bridge where we disembarked.
Nibbles were provided and drinks were only $5 each. It was a balmy spring evening and we had spectacular views of the laser light show.
It was a great night and we'll do it again for sure.

Can not recommend River City Cruises enough. I have been on all 3 cruises (morning, midday and sunset) and would go again. Beautiful views of Brisbane city and Southbank Parklands as you cruise along the Brisbane River. All crew on board extremely friendly and genuinely enjoy what they do (be sure to say hi to captain Geoff) Commentary on board for history and facts about the area. Well worth the money, even if you are a QLD/Brisbane local i would recommend doing this cruise. To top it off you can have a cheeky beverage while you relax and take in the scenery.

Pick up point was close to hotel.
Getting on / off was seamless.
Good value for money. Lights along the river were pretty.
We were however the only ones on the upper deck not given a snack platter & a bit of a commentary on landmarks would have been nice.
