Byron and Bangalow are laid back destinations, so they are best enjoyed with an unhurried, free spirit. We like to go with the flow of the day, spending time where needed and moving along when it's necessary. It’s a day trip away, we love it and you will too.
20 min - This is the first stop on our tour. Time to stretch our legs and take in the vista of the Gold Coast. Walk along the Walk of Remembrance and read of Australian maritime history.
30 min - Great place for a coffee break. Look at the farm animals. Eat some good food. Walk around the farm and see how they grow what is eaten in the restaurant and bakery.
1 hr - Located at Australia's easternmost point, Cape Byron Lighthouse offers a great vantage point. Dolphins, turtles and whales (if the season is right) can be seen from here. There is a small Maritime Museum which focuses on local history. Great walks can be enjoyed.
1 hr 30 min - Have lunch, wander the shops, sit on the beach. Time to do as you please.
15 min - We sometimes make a trip here to grab some Macadamia Nuts and enjoy an ice cream. This stop is optional depending on time.
15 min - Quaint town to enjoy a coffee break and relax. Walk the street and look at the federation style buildings. Eclectic mix of shops to be enjoyed.
20 min - This is our stop on the way home. This beautiful park affords wonderful views of the expanse of the Gold Coast. If you want, it can be time to slip of the shoes and paddle in the water before we head home.

A fabulous trip down to the Gold Coast in a comfortable small minibus. So much to see at the different stops with ample time to top up on coffee and cake, take in the sights and enjoy the atmosphere of summer on the coast. A small group of 7 gave the chance to get to know each other and we had good fun. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and gave a great commentary as we drove. The whole trip was well planned with information in booklets to enhance the experience. There was even a great podcast to listen to when we were held up in heavy traffic! A great day - if I could give 10 stars I would have !

Fabulous whistle stop tour south of Brisbane. We were picked up outside our hotel and made stops by Coolangatta, Byron bay and Gold coast with some cool stops in-between. We had great views of dolphins and turtles at cape Byron had time for a swim in the sea. Trev certainly knew his stuff and puts on a great tour. His driving his very good and his bus is really comfortable. Really wish I could have given 6 stars. But certainly a must do whilst in Brisbane. Ideal trip for those who are visiting Brisbane and not hiring a car.
I have traveled a lot and done excursions as I travel. Trevor has a top notch business and I couldn’t ask for more.
Trev is an excellent tour guide, very knowlegdeble about a lot of things. He had an answer to every question. He is also a good driver, I tend to get sick in many vehicles, not with him. I was perfectly fine in the evening even though we had driven many hours and made quite some way. If you want to get away from Brisbane for a day, highly recomended.
